About the Role

The successful candidate will join Nasstar’s Presales team and be responsible for creating technical presales solutions, documentation, and supporting the sales community in client engagements.

The role requires a confident, experienced, and self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and engage with clients at all organizational levels in technical and business discussions.

Central to the role is the creation and review of solution proposals, demonstrations, RFI/RFPs, implementation strategies, designs, and Statements of Work.

The role involves liaising with other Nasstar teams including Sales, Bid Management, Product & Propositions, Technical Delivery, Project Management, and Support & Managed Services. Flexibility in working from home and business travel is required.

The candidate should have experience and confidence advising clients on Wide Area and Local Area Networking technologies, especially secure networking concepts such as SD-WAN, SD-Branch, and SASE architectures, including services like ZTNA, CASB, FWAAS, and SWG.

Responsibilities:

The Customer Solutions Architect operates in a Presales capacity, engaging at a senior level to define and own the customer’s technology strategy. The role involves working with customers to shape their thinking and build a sales pipeline, handling high-value, complex requests, and managing technical components of the sales process, including scoping, solutioning, and creating customer-facing artefacts.

What we are looking for:

Extensive Fortinet & Cisco/Meraki Presales Solutions Architecture experience, particularly in SD-WAN & SASE / Secure Networking.

Ability to produce sales supporting documentation.

  • Lead responses for opportunities or customer engagements, including content creation, quality assurance, and timely delivery, covering requirements capture, scope, and proposals that are technically sound, peer-reviewed, and commercially accurate.
  • Strong client and team relationship-building skills.
  • Experience engaging with customers and stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
  • Confident, credible demeanor to influence stakeholders.
  • Support and mentor other Presales Consultants.
  • Support cross-business opportunities.
  • Confident in presenting and conducting client workshops.
  • Ability to identify client needs and design technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of relevant technologies and the ability to speak confidently about them.
  • Effective time management and multi-project engagement skills.

Recognized IT certifications from vendors like Fortinet and Cisco.

Experience leading customer strategy, engaging with vendors, and managing pipelines.

Extensive technical experience in designing complex enterprise networking solutions across Security, WAN, LAN, including cloud security services, public cloud connectivity, and working with vendors like Fortinet and Cisco.

Experience with service transition, large network transformations, and connecting enterprise networks to cloud providers like Microsoft and AWS.

Understanding of Managed Network Services is a plus.
