Job Position: Pre-Sales Engineer Industry: Security and Surveillance Job Type: Full time Location: UK Job Description: The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering Dahua’s high-quality products, solutions, and services. The engineer will engage with internal departments such as Tech, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, as well as external clients including distributors, system integrators, installers, end-users, to enhance business performance and reputation, ensuring sustained growth. Main Responsibilities: Provide technical support and advice on video surveillance equipment for sales staff and customers, including troubleshooting and integration with third-party systems. Maintain good relationships with distributors, system integrators, and installers, and gather feedback on products. Communicate effectively with headquarters regarding new products and technical issues. Conduct site surveys, customer training/demos, project support, and product promotion; assist in pre-sales activities like introducing new features and helping customers select products. Diagnose faults and repair video surveillance equipment. Train technical engineers of channel partners to improve their technical knowledge. Gather market feedback and report to the product department for improvements. Support projects by assisting with tender documents and standards compliance. Assist in brand promotion and collaborate with the marketing team on promotional materials. Participate in training new technical staff about Dahua products and solutions.
