We are working with an award-winning food and drink PR & Social communications agency who are looking to hire an enthusiastic Account Executive to join their brilliant team. This agency is one of the longest standing agencies in the industry! The Role
We are looking for a driven PR Account Executive with a passion for all things food & drinks and working with big name household brands. The dream candidate will already have a proven background working in PR and Social with excellent media contacts across consumer and trade. We’d love to find someone who is a motivated self-starter with a ‘can-do’ attitude. You will be enthusiastic and motivated to learn new skills and take on new challenges as well as being open to taking feedback and developing your own skills. You will love keeping your finger on the pulse of the latest culture trends and sharing your findings with others!
Skills & Experience Required
- Up to 2 years’ experience (ideally agency experience) of delivering integrated social media and PR campaigns, or standalone PR or social media programmes
- Experience working across a mix of FMCG (food and drink) clients
- Knowledge of the UK media landscape – consumer and trade, and press office experience
- Experience of developing copy for different audiences including consumer and trade comms as well as social media content creation
Core skills we are looking for
- Copywriting
- You have started leading on the creative ideas for press office and social media activity, e.g. gift kit concepts, pitch angles, content calendars
- You can demonstrate your creative writing skills by writing for different channels and audiences
- You are able to draft engaging press releases and copy for both consumer and trade media with minimal support and a creative flair
- You are regularly communicating with clients and responding to their questions
- Social Media
- You are proficient at writing content plans that are on-brand and on-message
- You feel confident running paid social campaigns
- You can produce quality content in-house and brief the creative design team on new assets
- You can develop client reports with minimal input from others, including considered learnings and recommendations based on results
- Content capture - video and photography basics required
- Creative Suite skills – Canva, Cap Cut, experience with or an understanding of photography or video editing is considered a plus, but not required
- Social media experience across Meta, TikTok and X
