VIQU has partnered with a leading organisation that is looking to employ a Power Platform Developer to support and deliver a range of Microsoft Power Platform systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Power Apps development role, assisting in implementing Power Platforms within an organisation. They should work well in a team of software developers and be able to operate at a fast pace. This role requires broad experience across Power Platform development, including Power Pages, Dataverse, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
Duties of the Power Platform Developer:
- Establish requirements for new Power Platform solutions and enhancements.
- Design, develop, and deploy Power Platform services, ensuring adherence to governance.
- Mentor and train team members and colleagues on the Power Platforms.
- Guide users and stakeholders on effective ways to solve business problems through bespoke software applications.
- Implement software while preventing disruption to service users.
- Participate in user acceptance testing, identify bugs, and implement necessary changes.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Power Platform developments, making informed decisions in your area of expertise.
Requirements of the Power Platform Developer:
- Proficient in developing digital solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies (Power Pages, SharePoint, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Experience in business process testing.
- Ability to define and document project phases and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong teamwork and effective communication skills, both individually and in groups.
