Job Title: Apache Hadoop Engineer

Location: London, UK

Mode of Employment: Full-time / Contract

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and build platforms and support applications in cloud and on-premises environments, with hands-on experience in platform and application engineering.
• Contribute to open-source projects, particularly those related to the Apache ecosystem, with an in-depth understanding of the codebase.
• Identify and resolve complex issues during delivery phases.
• Design open-source platforms based on Apache frameworks for Hadoop.
• Integrate Infrastructure-as-Code into platforms, including bespoke implementations from scratch.
• Design and architect solutions for the open-source Apache platform in hybrid cloud environments.
• Debug and fix code within open-source Apache projects, contributing as an individual contributor.
