ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re seeking a hands-on, commercially focused Performance Marketing Lead to cover a key role in the Digital team. This maternity cover will be responsible for the planning, execution, and optimisation of all performance marketing channels, managing budgets against strict cost % targets, and driving customer acquisition across markets. The ideal candidate will be data-led and channel-savvy, with strong experience in paid search, paid social, affiliate, and email campaign delivery. You'll join during a planned handover phase and be supported by a wider digital and eCommerce team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- PPC / Paid Search: Day-to-day ownership of Google Ads and Bing — including search, shopping, and branded campaigns.
- Paid Social: Build and manage campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Affiliate (AWIN): Maintain and optimise affiliate performance, working with key partners and publishers.
- Email Campaign Execution: Deploy campaigns in Bloomreach; support audience segmentation, testing, and basic automations.
- Weekly Reporting: Produce actionable weekly performance reports across all channels, with insights on spend, CPA, ROAS, and channel contribution.
- Budget Management: Accountable for channel budgets, ensuring spend is optimised to stay within cost % of revenue targets.
- Project Work: Support ongoing and future initiatives, including PMAX trial campaigns and potential programmatic testing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with eCommerce, brand, content, and trading teams to align marketing with commercial objectives.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience in a performance marketing role, ideally within a DTC or high-growth eCommerce business.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, AWIN, and an ESP (ideally Bloomreach).
- Confident with budget ownership and ROI-driven decision-making.
- Highly analytical, with experience using GA4 and attribution technology for reporting and visualisation.
- Self-starter able to manage tactical work while contributing to broader strategic testing (e.g., new ad formats or tools).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.
WHAT YOU'LL GET
- Competitive salary (based on experience)
- Flexible hybrid working (3:2)
- Staff discount on bikes and accessories
- Chance to shape the next phase of Ribble’s paid marketing growth
