PharmaSource is the go-to platform for the pharma outsourcing community, connecting pharma and biotechs, CDMOs, and service providers through news, insights, and curated events. Our flagship event, CDMO Live, brings together leaders from across the outsourcing ecosystem to explore the future of drug development and manufacturing. We are building a connected ecosystem — and we are looking for a smart, proactive Partnership Manager to help us grow it.
As Partnership Manager, you will be the bridge between PharmaSource and the wider life sciences ecosystem. You will develop strategic relationships with leading pharma companies, biotech associations, science parks, media partners, and sponsors — helping us expand our reach, deliver value to our community, and drive revenue through collaborative initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and secure strategic relationships with big pharma companies, biotech hubs, incubators, accelerators, trade associations, science parks, and media outlets.
- Develop co-marketing and content partnerships that promote CDMO Live and other PharmaSource initiatives.
- Build relationships with thought leaders and influencers to strengthen our community presence.
- Collaborate with our commercial team to shape partnership opportunities across CDMO Live, webinars, and digital media.
- Support outreach to CDMOs, tech platforms, and other suppliers targeting biopharma clients.
- Build compelling partnership packages tailored to sponsor objectives.
- Ensure delivery of all partnership deliverables, from content contributions and promotions to event activations.
- Track and report on partner performance and value creation.
- Act as the main point of contact for key partners, ensuring long-term relationship growth.
- 3–6 years of experience in partnerships, community, business development, or marketing roles within Life Sciences or B2B media and events.
- Proven ability to build strategic relationships and create win-win value.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills — you can juggle multiple partnerships without dropping the ball.
- Familiarity with the life sciences, biotech, or pharma ecosystem — or a strong interest in learning fast.
- Existing network across trade associations, biotech hubs, or life science suppliers.
- Understanding of the outsourced drug development & manufacturing landscape (e.g. CDMOs, CMC, CROs).
