The Opportunity:
As Operations Director, you will play a critical role in leading all airside operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for maintaining high operational standards, engaging with key stakeholders, and driving strategic initiatives to support the airport’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all airside operations, ensuring full compliance with EASA regulations, the Air Navigation Order, and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies that uphold the highest levels of safety, operational efficiency, and customer service.
- Act as the accountable manager for aerodrome certification and operational requirements.
- Promote a safety-first culture, overseeing safety management systems and driving continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including airlines, regulatory authorities, local government, and community groups.
- Oversee the operational budget, ensuring financial efficiency and achievement of performance targets.
- Develop and motivate the operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and achievement.
