This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical-biased Technician to join a prominent aerospace engineering company in Northampton. You will be assembling and testing a variety of complex mechanical systems, either in the repair section or in the new product build area. Prior aerospace experience is preferred, but for the right candidate, this could be a great entry into the aerospace industry.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Finding and testing faults in complex hydraulic products.
  • Assembling complex hydraulic products.
  • Completing Quality Audits.
  • Building or repairing complex hydraulic products.
  • Using measuring equipment such as Micrometers, Vernier Calipers, and Height Gauges to inspect parts.

Background requirements:

  • Apprentice trained or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a complex engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and follow various procedures.
  • Competency with a range of assembly tools.
  • Hydraulic Testing Experience.
