Experience needed: We're looking for an experienced manufacturing planner or supply chain professional with strong knowledge of MRP systems and team leadership experience within a complex production environment.
About the role: An exciting opportunity has opened to join our manufacturing team as a Senior MRP Controller, playing a key role in ensuring delivery of the Manufacturing Planning Schedule across multiple high-profile projects. You'll be responsible for leading a team of MRP Controllers and overseeing planning activities to ensure materials, processes, and outputs align to time, cost, and quality targets. Your expertise will help drive operational efficiency, data accuracy, and continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of MRP Controllers to ensure timely and accurate material planning
- Manage and maintain the Manufacturing Planning Schedule across key programmes
- Oversee scheduling across all manufacturing processes and facilities
- Ensure accuracy of BOMs and master data in the MRP system
- Assess customer demand changes and their impact on inventory and delivery
- Drive process improvements through Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Monitor inventory levels and support cost-effective stock control
- Support training, development, and performance of the planning team
- Champion planning best practices, including KPI tracking and supply reviews
- Ensure safe working practices and coordinate material dispatches

- Proven experience in manufacturing planning, production control, or supply chain leadership roles
