Manager - Strategy and Performance Transformation (Consumer, Retail and Leisure)
Base Location: London plus network of 20 offices nationally.
The KPMG Strategy & Performance Transformation function is a key part of our Deal Advisory business, operating from London and serving the UK with expertise and diligence. KPMG is a leading global consultancy, supporting the UK through various economic and political cycles, and working alongside major institutions and businesses. Within our team, we provide support across all stages of deal making, from acquisition strategy to integration.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a credible client liaison, developing long-term relationships and representing KPMG.
- Manage small projects or complex workstreams, notably in M&A activities such as Commercial Due Diligence, M&A Strategy, and Value Creation.
- Deliver high-quality, client-ready reports with minimal review.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex problems within team and client contexts.
- Build detailed financial/business models, perform scenario and sensitivity analyses, and mentor junior team members.
- Contribute to internal practice matters and business development initiatives.
- Adhere to the firm’s risk management frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Experience in strategy consulting, Big 4 firms, or in-house Corporate Development roles.
- Understanding of value drivers in the Consumer sector; experience in other sectors is also relevant.
- Proven ability to lead workstreams and manage projects, including recent M&A transactions.
- Experience in proposal development, business development, and client pitches.
- Strong collaboration, relationship-building, and internal responsibility experience.
Locations: We are open to candidates across the UK, with core hubs in Glasgow, Leeds, London Canary Wharf, and Manchester. Flexible working options are available.
