Maintenance Supervisor

The Mechanical Supervisor is a key role within the Maintenance team, supporting the safe operation of assets, plant productivity, and reliability. As the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will: Report directly to the Maintenance Manager and oversee Mechanical Maintenance Technicians and Shift Technicians. Be responsible for all mechanical maintenance tasks, ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with operations to meet quality standards related to ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, and cGMP, including cross-contamination prevention. Manage mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring timely and safe execution of tasks. Work with Planning & Scheduling teams and Site Engineers to enhance plant reliability. Main Tasks and Responsibilities Maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental standards during all work activities. Manage the Mechanical Maintenance team, including work allocation, reviewing work packs, and ensuring RAMS are adequate. Track work progress, ensure documentation is complete, and close out work orders in the CMMS system. Handle personnel matters such as timekeeping, holidays, and disciplinary issues. Develop job packs, RAMS, and maintenance schedules in collaboration with planners. Participate in Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and follow up on actions to improve equipment performance. Address mechanical faults and work delivery issues promptly. Promote a positive safety culture and ensure work complies with safety and quality standards. Supervise external OEM contractors and coordinate compliance inspections and maintenance planning.
