Loan Closer

One of the biggest names in the Private Credit space is looking for a mid-level Loan Closing specialist to join them in an exciting period of growth. The business has tripled in AUM over the past five years and is forecast to double in AUM again over the next two years as they launch new products in new markets. You’ll join an existing team where you will play a vital role in the closing and settlement of syndicated loan transactions.

A broad overview of responsibilities includes:

• Assisting in the closing and settlement of syndicated loans, ensuring compliance with all internal procedures and regulations.
• Supporting the coordination of documentation between various parties including agents, borrowers, and syndicate members.
• Tracking/Managing loan disbursements and repayments, confirming all transactions are completed accurately.
• Ensuring timely and accurate reporting for all loan settlements.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues related to loan terms, disbursements, and settlements.
• Monitoring the daily loan operations and performing reconciliations as needed.

The business hires best-in-class talent and is looking for individuals with 2+ years of experience in a similar position at a buyside firm or investment bank. To be considered, you must have a solid understanding of syndicated loans, loan closing, and settlement processes. Candidates who have prior knowledge of CLOs are highly sought after. Candidates without loan closing experience cannot be considered.
