We are working with a luxury fashion house, who are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Legal Counsel to support a broad range of legal matters, with a particular focus on digital, technology, and e-commerce. This is a varied role that will evolve with business needs and offers the opportunity to work closely with teams across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts across digital, e-commerce, SaaS, software, marketing, logistics, franchise, and vendor-related matters.
- Providing legal support on general commercial issues including procurement, distribution, supply chain, and data protection.
- Contributing to compliance and governance projects, offering clear, business-focused legal guidance.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and delivering practical, solution-oriented advice.
- Identifying and mitigating legal risk to support commercial objectives.
Requirements:
- English law qualified lawyer, with the equivalent of approximately 3 to 4 years PQE (indicative only) with experience gained at a reputable law firm.
- Experience in digital, technology, supply chain, or compliance is highly desirable.
- Will have specialised in commercial law upon qualification.
- Will be able to operate with minimum supervision and in direct contact with internal clients.
- Will be starting to build a track record in working autonomously, managing complex matters, prioritising competing demands and dealing directly with a wide variety of business stakeholders.
