Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Provide commercial legal advice across the UK and Ireland business, focusing on contract review, drafting, and negotiation.
• Lead on less complex matters and support senior lawyers on high-value or strategic projects.
• Advise on legal areas including competition, IP, data protection, disputes, and regulatory compliance.
• Own projects from a legal perspective, managing risk, approvals, and key issue escalation.
• Contribute to process improvement and monitor legal developments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external counsel.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across procurement, finance, and commercial teams.
• Support supplier onboarding and invoice settlement processes.
• Help deliver effective legal risk management in line with business objectives.

Qualifications / requirements:

• Qualified solicitor or barrister (NQ – 3 years PQE)
• Self-starter and team player – able to work autonomously and as a member of the wider legal team
• Supportive of colleagues
• Commercial – applying legal knowledge to bring commercial solutions
• Credibility with internal stakeholders
• Hard working, disciplined and organised with a strong drive for results
