They are experiencing growth, creating a new role in their L&D team. This role involves regular travel to various business units, sites, and training venues. Responsibilities include: Identify, design, and implement organisational and business unit people development solutions to ensure skills and capabilities align with strategic goals. Identify and implement performance improvement opportunities at organisational, product, and personal levels using OD theories, tools, and techniques. Act as the primary PD contact for key business areas, building strong relationships to understand their people and performance needs. Collaborate with managers to establish processes for skills development, including just-in-time training, buddying, and upskilling initiatives. Design and deliver behavioural skills training programmes. Provide coaching and mentoring to develop leadership and management capabilities. Facilitate team development sessions to improve performance and cohesion. Support the creation and promotion of career pathways and development opportunities. Lead and contribute to PD projects, including researching, designing, and delivering initiatives. Innovate in training and development practices to enhance organisational effectiveness. Utilise funding and events from trade partnerships for relevant training aligned with operational priorities. Provide up-to-date L&D information to stakeholders, using data to inform future activities. Collaborate with People Business Partners on change and people projects. Prior Experience: Proven experience in organisational development, learning and development, or HR, with a focus on partnering with business areas.
