Shared technology components are an increasingly important part of the Ansys pervasive insights strategy to expand the footprint and drive broader adoption of Ansys products and solutions. The Lead Program Manager Solutions is responsible for helping to define the overall strategy and product roadmap for solutions and platform shared technology components (STCs). This includes ensuring alignment between STCs and company-wide strategic objectives, influencing development priorities across target use cases, and driving the delivery and adoption of platform capabilities within the Ansys portfolio and ecosystem. This role requires the ability to communicate cross-functionally and build strong relationships with development, customer excellence, sales, marketing, and customers to ensure a comprehensive strategy for bringing STCs to market.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive alignment between shared technology components (STCs) and critical company and customer initiatives.
  • Collaborate with development leads and stakeholders to ensure delivery and adoption of platform capabilities.
  • Refine and improve the planning and communication process for STCs to efficiently adapt to changing customer needs while maximizing the impact of current offerings.
  • Provide a prioritized list of strategic initiatives to guide planning resource allocation.
  • Lead and evolve the go to market strategy for shared technology components.
  • Provide training to Customer Excellence and Account Teams as necessary.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with 8 years of experience, or master’s with 6 years of experience, or PhD with 4 years of experience.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a geographically distributed organization.
  • Experience leading projects and delivering high-quality products in a large-scale commercial organization.
  • Experience and understanding of the full end-to-end simulation process from geometry to solution post-processing.
  • Awareness of industry trends towards automation and democratization, requiring workflows that are fast, accurate, and easy-to-use.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Firsthand cloud deployment experience with customer IT challenges both technical and process change related.
  • Professional experience in a role as an application engineer or product manager is highly desired.
  • In-depth experience in requirements definition, market research & analysis, and project planning.
  • Ability to overcome obstacles and drive projects to completion.
