Do you want to work for one of the country's leading house builders? Are you looking for the next step in your career and want to join an expanding team as the company continues to build on its success this year? I'm currently working with a leading house builder as they search for a land manager to join their team based in the North West.

You will ideally come from another high-volume house builder with experience in big projects and land tendering. You should have a proven track record of deals and excellent knowledge of the Lancashire, Chester, Cumbria & Merseyside regions. Ideally 4+ years post-graduation and ambitious to progress.

You will work closely with internal and external consultants to manage projects through the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing off-market land for purchase in the North West
  • Maintaining contact with housing associations for potential partnership JV’s
  • Liaising and negotiating with landowners and agents
  • Overseeing legal, planning, and design consultants pre and post-acquisition
  • Staying updated on town planning policies and targeting key areas for letter writing
Expected experiences:
  • Degree-qualified, preferably in property or related fields
  • Consistently doing 3-4 land deals a year as a natural deal maker
  • Experienced senior land manager or ready to step up
  • Proven sourcing and land acquisition in the North West
  • Currently working for a national residential developer, investor, or agency
  • Understanding of planning application and appeals process
  • Strong network in the land agency sector
  • Determined, hungry, and ambitious
  • Ability to work independently
