Role Overview: The Junior Planner is to help represent the voice of the Consumer in the agency. They’re part of the Planning team responsible for developing the key strategic insights that underpin advertising ideas. They work closely with the Planner to research the clients' market and understand the Consumer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and Insight Gathering
  • Data and insight from agency tools into client and competitor creative
  • In-store retail creative and shopper insights
  • Organise and execute saliency analysis requests on AI insight tool
  • Creative Planning
  • Undertake desk research to support the briefing process
  • Help organise ideation thought showers
  • Help organise the creative examples database
  • Communications Planning
  • Gathering and organising desk research

Key Requirements:

  • Experience either within a marketing/Retail focused agency or in client-side campaigns (desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good time management
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Commercially aware
  • Able to work on own initiative and with limited supervision.
