This role offers an opportunity to explore your passion for product within a creative and collaborative environment. As the Buyer, you will: Develop Buyers Admin Assistants, Assistant Buyers, or Junior Buyers, nurturing their growth to achieve promotions and key career milestones. Review workflows and improve efficiencies. Engage in range building, onboarding new suppliers, and managing a multi-product background. Responsibilities include: Creating lessons learned presentations for senior management. Communicating key performance indicators and strategic insights to junior team members. Challenging and holding your team accountable for managing their categories. Motivating and supporting your team daily. Developing pricing strategies with merchandisers. Planning buys in collaboration with your Merchandiser. Building balanced product ranges, identifying gaps, and capitalizing on new opportunities. Encouraging reaction to sales trends and introducing new products to drive revenue. Reviewing colors, prints, and shapes, maintaining best sellers while innovating ranges. Managing trading from the Far East and nearby suppliers, considering lead times. Maintaining and onboarding supplier relationships, sourcing fabrics and trims, including sustainable options. Implementing test and trial methods to enhance profitability. Achieving strong trading performance at margin and cash sales levels. Managing OTB and seasonal budgets with your merchandiser. Utilizing historical and current data for commercial decision-making. Managing Monday Trade reports and associated actions. Overseeing critical path and delivery schedules for the team. Handling stock issues, delays, and cancellations effectively. Preparing for product launches, managing campaign dates, and ensuring timely delivery. Collaborating with Merchandiser on forecasting and volume planning. Conducting cross-costing projects to protect margins. Participating in trend and design meetings with internal and external stakeholders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
