RED Global are seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Engineer to join a dedicated team supporting Structured Products across Capital Markets. This role will be hybrid based in London, and requires strong team leadership experience, as well as experience with Equity Derivatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and support structured product solutions.
- Lead technical discussions and mentor junior team members.
- Ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables in alignment with client expectations.
- Drive full-stack development efforts using Java, Angular, PostgreSQL, and Kafka.
- Participate in system design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proven expertise as a Full Stack Engineer with strong backend (Java) and frontend (Angular) capabilities.
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL (or similar relational databases) and Kafka (or similar messaging systems).
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Strong background in financial services, with preference given to candidates with:
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Equity Derivatives.
- Familiarity with regulatory and risk initiatives in capital markets.
