We are offering a fantastic opportunity at our Bristol Campus for an inspirational Interim Campus Principal to lead and support the school, shaping its strategic direction. The campus is located near Berkeley, with plans to relocate to Cwmbran in 2026.

The Campus Principal is a key leadership role, reporting to the Regional Principal and the Campus Administrator, responsible for providing professional leadership and management to achieve high standards. Our schools foster achievement, opportunity, and professional challenge within a supportive environment. We seek a forward-thinking leader, perhaps new to whole-school leadership, passionate about cutting-edge pedagogy and learning, who embraces change and maintains high standards of rigour and detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance student aspiration, attainment, and progress through improved teaching and learning quality.
  • Provide leadership, inspiration, and management, modeling outstanding teaching.
  • Promote learner wellbeing through effective leadership and management activities.
  • Implement education programs supporting individual learner development and wellbeing.
  • Lead and improve teaching team performance to deliver an inspiring curriculum.
  • Maintain efficient systems for student management and daily organization.
  • Foster positive communication and relationships within the school community.
  • Ensure compliance with independent school standards.
  • Report regularly to the governing body and Regional Principal.
  • Demonstrate outstanding teaching practice and contribute to classroom teaching.
  • Maintain a professional and approachable presence.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate staff, monitoring performance effectively.
We are looking for:
  • An outstanding classroom practitioner with experience in pedagogical coaching and providing feedback.
  • Experience in senior leadership roles, using data to improve pupil progress.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
  • Experience in raising achievement through staff leadership and coaching.
  • Passion for Self-Directed Learning principles.
  • Knowledge of SEND and promoting inclusive education.
  • Experience working with diverse learners and enabling progression.
  • Experience delivering whole-school CPD.
  • Alignment with National Standards of Excellence for Headteachers and Teacher Standards.
  • Qualified teacher status and an acceptable DBS disclosure.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to plan, meet deadlines, and delegate.
  • Presence, personality, and a drive for continuous improvement.
