Job Description: Senior / Principal Controls & Instrumentation Engineer
What you’ll be doing as a Controls & Instrumentation Engineer:
- Undertaking functional design, providing specialist advice, and producing evidence
- Liaising with internal and external customers as part of a technical team
- Electrical/Electronic installation for Communications and Control & Instrumentation (C&I)
- Design of Test Infrastructure and Hardware
- Writing and producing technical & test documents
Your skills and experiences as a Controls & Instrumentation Engineer:
- A relevant Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) Degree or equivalent
- Experience in PLC and SCADA programming, C&I system verification test design, or parts specification would be advantageous
- Good technical knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Communications Systems (Voice Over IP (VOIP) networks, Broadcast (PA), or trunked radio systems) or Control & Instrumentation (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Fanuc PLCs)
