An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and is confident working across Microsoft 365, Azure, and on-premises infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-impact M365 tenant migrations, reviewing and optimising Azure infrastructure, and ensuring smooth integration between cloud and on-prem systems. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety, working closely with the M365 Technical Lead and stakeholders across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute end-to-end M365 tenant migrations, ensuring full data and workflow migration with minimal disruption.
  • Review and improve Azure environments across the organisation, ensuring alignment with the Microsoft Well-Architected Framework (Cost, Security, Reliability, Performance, Operational Excellence).
  • Maintain and support on-premises infrastructure, ensuring stability and seamless integration with cloud systems.
  • Produce clear and accurate architectural documentation and diagrams.
  • Provide technical guidance on new technologies and help implement best-in-class solutions across group companies.
  • Ensure adherence to robust change control processes.
  • Collaborate with HQ and regional teams to drive consistency and excellence in infrastructure services.
  • Stay current with evolving technologies and recommend updates to keep infrastructure aligned with industry standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure projects in global or multi-entity environments.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID, Security & Compliance).
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure infrastructure, including identity and access management (Azure AD, Azure AD Connect, MFA, Conditional Access).
  • Solid background in managing and supporting on-premises infrastructure.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with migration tools such as Quest On Demand, ShareGate, and BitTitan.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex technical issues for non-technical users.
  • Track record of successful delivery of infrastructure solutions across multiple business units or clients.
