Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain robust infrastructure and storage solutions.
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability by monitoring key service health metrics.
• Manage virtualization environments and containerized platforms for optimized workload deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and compliant IT operations.
• Perform system hardening and encryption in accordance with security best practices.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Utilize log ingestion and monitoring tools to analyze and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Document configurations, procedures, and technical processes in a clear and concise manner.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Advanced understanding of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu / CentOS / RHEL).
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
• Expertise in configuration management tools: Puppet and Ansible.
• Proficient in orchestration tools such as Terraform.
• Familiarity with DCIM/IPAM tools (e.g., NetBox).
• Log ingestion experience with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Filebeat, Syslog, and Graylog.
• Hands-on experience with containerization platforms: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Virtualization experience with VMware 7.x environments.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Proficiency in databases: PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
• Experience with web/application servers such as Apache or NGINX, and WSGI.
• In-depth understanding of service health metrics and monitoring systems.
• Experience in secure infrastructure deployment and system hardening practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have):

• Familiarity with SIEM solutions and security event correlation.
• Experience with data replication, backup, and recovery strategies.
• Palo Alto Firewall administration experience.
• Scripting proficiency with Bash and Python.
• Hardware: Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Supermicro
• DCIM/IPAM: NetBox
• Automation & Orchestration: Ansible, Puppet, Terraform
• Virtualization & Cloud: VMware, AWS
