We are working with a leading global consulting firm in London, UK that is looking for Indirect Tax Managers and Senior Managers to join its growing Financial Services Tax practice.

Your key responsibilities
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships with evidence of go-to-market strategies
- Ensure delivery of quality work and manage the delivery team on a day-to-day basis
- Help people develop by effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff
- Contribute to people initiatives, including retaining and training international tax professionals
- Significant involvement in team management, both strategically and operationally, including junior staff development and assignments
- Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide exceptional client service
- Demonstrate negotiation skills, able to gain buy-in and handle challenges
- Possess business development skills—able to identify and convert opportunities by proactively managing existing client relationships and acquiring new clients
- Manage the delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical, business-driven approach
- Maintain overall responsibility for the quality of client service
- Manage potential leads from other areas of the practice
- Build networks and relationships internally and externally for the team to leverage
Applicants must have the following:
- Must possess the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not offered
- Relevant experience working within Financial Services, particularly wealth and asset management, including real estate
- Project management skills: planning, prioritizing work, meeting deadlines, monitoring budgets
- ACA/ACCA/CA or comparable qualification; or Tax Inspectors with full technical training; or Law qualification. CTA or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Ability to build strong client relationships and be commercially aware
- Negotiation skills: able to sustain opinions and handle challenges
- Business development skills: able to identify and convert opportunities to sell work
- Strong practical and commercial experience advising clients or working in-house
- Effective time management skills and ability to remain calm under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Team player capable of creating, sustaining, and managing effective, inclusive teams
