Are you an experienced HR Manager seeking your next opportunity within a well-established business? Do you have a background within engineering, manufacturing, or a similar unionised environment? If so, this could be the role for you! Reporting to the Head of HR and managing a team of 2, the HR Manager will be part of the senior management team and play a key role in aligning good people practices with organisational goals. Manage a team of 2 HR professionals – develop, mentor, and support their growth Support and partner with senior leaders on absence, performance, and complex employee relations Lead leadership development initiatives – upskilling new management Implement and review policies to ensure they are up-to-date and compliant with current changes Manage union relations and network within the wider group Lead HR initiatives and projects Oversee Payroll, LMS, and HRIS – ensure process accuracy and data reporting You will join a fast-paced, busy environment in this exciting role! We seek an experienced generalist HR Manager with experience in Logistics, Manufacturing, Distribution, or similar. A background within a unionised environment is essential. You should be data and tech-savvy, possess strong employment law knowledge, and stay updated with legislative changes. The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified or working towards it.
