Role Overview:

As an HSS Specialist Engineer within the Converged Service Platform (CSP) function, you\’ll be instrumental in designing, operating, and delivering top-tier mobile networks. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing 2nd Line Mobile Operations to support system and service performance across all mobile brands.
• Specifying, building, securing, and supporting environments that enable subscriber services within the mobile core network.
• Utilizing your technical expertise to support Home Subscriber Server (HSS) areas, ensuring seamless subscriber management and service delivery.

Technical Expertise Required:

• In-depth knowledge of HSS, OSS, and AAA architectures and technologies.
• Proficiency with protocols such as SNMP, DNS, and ARP.
• Experience collaborating with internal teams, external business customers, and third-party suppliers.
• Familiarity with scripting, automation tools, Netscout, cloud networks, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of network virtualization technologies, SDN/NFV (e.g., NSX, Nokia NCS).
• Awareness of the commercial aspects and implications of supporting the estate.
