The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Housing on a 12 month initial contract for a busy local authority. Your main role will be to lead the management, development, performance and continuous improvement of all Housing services including, Housing Needs & Homelessness, Tenancy Services and Rent, and Private Sector Housing.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Housing Service Manager / Housing Manager / Head of Housing with the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive leadership and senior management experience in a complex organisation.
  • Evidence of controlling and managing substantial budgets.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills.
  • Educated to Degree Level or equivalent relevant to Housing.
  • Ideally Chartered membership of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) or working towards CIH or other relevant professional body.

This role will be 3 days from home and 2 days in the office. There will also be an on call element to the role which will be discussed during the interview. Please apply today for immediate consideration.
