Health & Safety Manager

Reports to: Operations Director

Sector: Food Manufacturing

A well-established food production company is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to lead site safety strategy and ensure legal and regulatory compliance. This senior role is ideal for an experienced H&S professional with strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site-wide H&S plans and policies.
• Promote a positive safety culture and ensure legal compliance.
• Conduct training, risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
• Monitor safety performance and recommend improvements.
• Maintain H&S records, ensure BRC and QHSE standards are met.

Candidate Profile

• NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma (essential); Degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior H&S role, ideally in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of legislation, risk assessment, and reporting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
