Warner Scott are partnered with a leading professional services advisory firm, who are seeking a dynamic and experienced Valuations Director/Partner to lead and grow their Valuations practice. This is a new team within the business, and the successful candidate will have freedom to build and shape the team as they see fit. This is a pivotal role, and will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the valuation function, managing a team of experts, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality valuation services across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Delivery
- Project Oversight: Oversee the execution of valuation projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Advisory Services: Provide senior-level advisory services to clients, offering insights and recommendations that drive business value and support decision-making processes.
- Client Reporting: Ensure the timely preparation and presentation of clear, accurate, and comprehensive valuation reports, tailored to meet client-specific requirements.
- Practice Development: Lead the development and implementation of the Valuations practice’s strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the firm’s overall objectives and growth ambitions.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of valuation professionals, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Innovation & Growth: Identify and capitalize on emerging trends, tools, and methodologies in the valuation space to enhance service offerings and drive competitive advantage.
- Client Acquisition: Play a key role in the firm’s business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the valuations space.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and positioning the firm as a trusted advisor.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other service lines within the firm to develop integrated solutions that meet clients’ broader advisory needs.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes, ensuring that all valuations are performed in compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: Significant experience within Valuations, with a minimum of 5 years within a professional services advisory firm.
- Qualifications: Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, CFA, ACCA) and a strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of valuation methodologies across various asset classes, including business enterprises, real estate, and intangible assets.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Client-Focused: Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships, with a strong track record in business development.
