Opportunity: Head of Talent Acquisition
Join a leading law firm as the Head of Talent Acquisition, responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract and retain top legal and support professionals. Play a key role in shaping the firm\’s culture, enhancing employee engagement, and maintaining its status as an outstanding workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and Support the Talent Acquisition Team: Set direction and priorities; coach, develop, and mentor team members.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term talent acquisition strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leadership and division heads to understand hiring needs and provide strategic advice.
- Recruitment Process Management: Oversee sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Employer Branding: Promote the firm\’s brand through social media, job fairs, and industry events.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Lead initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace, collaborating with the Chair of the People and Culture Committee.
- Data Analysis: Use recruitment metrics to monitor effectiveness and generate reports.
- Budget Management: Manage recruitment budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and reporting expenses.
- Innovation: Implement new recruitment technologies and practices, staying informed of industry trends.
- Leading Senior Recruitment Assignments: Develop strategies for executive roles, conduct in-depth assessments, and evaluate leadership potential.
Skills and Qualifications:
- CIPD qualification or equivalent
- Senior experience in Talent Acquisition, with strategic and operational expertise
- Experience with recruitment data, applicant tracking systems, and sourcing tools
- Knowledge of employment law and HR policies
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to produce and present reports to senior leadership
- Analytical skills to interpret HR metrics and data
