Lincoln Cornhill is currently working with a Housing Association based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Head of Property & Compliance on an interim six-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, however the client is open to hearing from candidates with a longer notice period. The working hours for the role are Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours.
The range of duties which are covered include:
- Leading the Repairs, Planned and Compliance functions for a leading Housing Association
- Providing support to the incumbent Compliance Manager, in particular with M+E policies
- Playing an active role in the overall improvement of the property services function
- Attending contractor meetings and ensuring excellent value for money
- Adopting a profit/loss approach, understanding how to streamline services while maintaining an excellent standard
Experience and skills required:
- The ideal candidate will have experience developing and implementing policies/procedures around M&E.
- Alongside exposure to M&E, the successful candidate must have delivered a cost efficient, but effective Repairs & Maintenance Service.
- Must have experience of working within Social Housing is essential
- Experience liaising with stakeholders, and senior management
- Proven track record in developing and implementing policies and procedures surrounding M&E
