This highly reputed organisation with revenues exceeding £5Bn seeks to appoint a talented Head of Finance to report to the board with responsibility for a large team in finance shared services. With a leading role to evolve the structure and strategy you will:
- Oversee the entire finance team to ensure the highest standard of service exists.
- Develop the effectiveness of finance through continuous training and development of your people to achieve high levels of performance.
- Develop, manage and challenge the SSC key performance indicators, and continually review to maximise efficiency of the finance function.
- Lead and support managers of the teams to ensure delivery of all services within agreed budgets and to agreed targets.
- Support all managers in the identification, reporting and management of risk and non-compliance and action when required.
This role is suited to an enthusiastic professional team leader committed to developing high levels of performance. Of paramount importance is the ability to build first class relationships within finance and the wider business.
Skills & Experience:
- Qualified Accountant.
- You must have broad and sustained Finance SSC and team management experience.
- Experience of designing, implementing and operating robust financial controls.
- Strong track record delivering and heading up transformational programmes and projects.
- Proven experience in delivering and evaluating post-transformational change.
- A demonstrable track record of successfully shaping & implementing end to end processes and a culture of continuous improvements.
- Proven track record of delivering service in a fast-paced environment.
- Diligent and accurate.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Passion for service, warm, friendly and genuine with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
