Job Description:

This role involves delivering hands-on support at customer locations as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). It requires in-depth knowledge of both software and hardware configurations of physical systems, along with proficiency in the company\’s software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong written and presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to support users of varying proficiency levels.
• Relevant experience in technical ICT roles.
• Experience installing and configuring computer hardware, networks, domain accounts, and troubleshooting user and hardware issues.
• Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11 and Server 2016/2018) and virtualization products like VMware and Hyper-V.
• Understanding of server and networking infrastructure configuration and operation.
• Good knowledge of hardware and software specifications.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas to customer sites.

Experience

• Solid education in IT and experience in an IT environment.
• Understanding of ICT issues, operating systems, software, data management, and hardware/services evaluation.
• Experience with cable dressing, management, termination, and cable limitations.
• Basic civil engineering skills.
• Customer-facing experience.
• Ability to coordinate with internal departments and personnel at all levels.
• Effective time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
