A scale up renewable energy IPP is seeking a Construction Grid Manager for their growing construction team. Our client has an impressive pipeline of Solar PV and BESS projects entering construction in the next 12 months (10MW - 100MW+). Their established in-house construction team requires a Grid Manager with experience on the construction side of renewable energy projects to assist with the design and execution of their projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, execution and planning application support of projects
- Guarantee DNO/IDNO compliance with regulations and best practices
- Internal stakeholder collaboration
- Guarantee project stability, efficiency and reliability
- Guarantee project budgets and deadlines are met
- Assist the wider team with grid applications
- Create and streamline grid models
- Ensure system compliance and reliability (manage load flow, short circuit and stability)
- Design and analyze MV/HV systems
- Conduct assessments of grid performance
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
- Knowledge of grid code
- Track record in grid engineering
- Experience in integration of renewable energy projects to the grid
