Our client, a leading telecoms company, is looking for a skilled Finance Business Partner to join their Northern Ireland team on a 12-month contract. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in the success of the Northern Ireland unit, reporting on revenue performance and managing operating costs to deliver financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide commercial and decision support to the NI team
- Work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure strong financial controls, reconciliations, and variance analysis reporting on monthly actuals and full-year outlook versus Medium Term Plan
- Be accountable for monthly reporting, outlook, and medium-term planning for operating costs and revenue
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely explain operating costs, efficiency, and revenue performance to non-financial audiences
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills (large data sets)
- Experience in influencing business performance and driving commercial outcomes
- A pragmatic team player who can hold others to account with a supportive yet challenging style
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects while meeting tight deadlines
- Strong ability to handle ambiguity and prioritise conflicting demands
- Act as an advisor and coach to team members and other departments, providing expert advice in specialist areas
