Location: London (3 Days on-site per week)

Our client, a leading global investment bank, is looking for an experienced Application Support Analyst to join their Front Office Technology team in London. You’ll be embedded within the equities business, working directly with traders, middle office, and technology teams across the full trading lifecycle.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide daily support for trading and post-trade workflows, particularly around booking, allocations, and commission issues.
  • Support and troubleshoot workflows in Fidessa CTAC, CTM, FIX, and internal trading systems.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients, building reports, and managing enhancement requests.
  • Become the go-to person for booking/allocation and settlement processes.
  • Own incidents through to resolution, contribute to UAT, and support global releases.

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong experience in equity trade support (cash, ETFs, swaps, etc.).
  • Hands-on knowledge of Fidessa CTAC, FIX 4.4, and CTM workflows.
  • Solid SQL skills and confident diagnosing application-level issues.
  • Background supporting trading systems and working in front-office environments.
  • Clear communicator who can handle pressure and multitask effectively.
  • Familiarity with automation/config tools like Ansible or GitHub.
  • Exposure to RHEL or similar Linux environments.
  • DevOps interest or understanding, especially around low-latency platforms.
  • Comfortable with occasional data centre visits (rack/stack, config work).

The setup:

  • Core hours: 9am–6pm with flexibility.
  • On-call support rota.
  • Occasional international travel (e.g. New York data centre visit).
