Now entering its second decade, Nielsen Racing embarks on an exciting new chapter. With a rich history of worldwide success in LMP3 and LMP2 ProAm, this new era marks a significant investment in our future, bringing fresh talent and bolstering our team’s ambitions for long-term growth.
We are also wanting to invest in our people; therefore, we are recruiting for a number of roles, looking for experienced F3 engineers and mechanics for a new programme for 2025.
Each role would be on a contract basis, not full time. European travel would be required with both roles, therefore a valid passport is essential.

Race Engineers
We are looking for race engineers who can work within our team, giving us a competitive advantage and who are able to successfully deliver a race-winning performance.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- To lead and organise the running of one of our racecars.
- Organise all operational aspects of running a car including creating pre-event documents, managing job lists, preparing the run plans.
- Implement the best race strategy.
- Complete detailed post-event analysis of driver performance and race strategy.
- Communicate well with all members of the team.
- Lead engineering briefings with drivers and the crew.
Experience / requirements:
- A proven track record in F3 racing.
- A Masters / Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- A good understanding of vehicle dynamics.
- Must have strong communication and organisation skills.
- Ideally based in the UK. Applications from Europe will be considered.
Race Mechanics
We are looking for Race Mechanics who can work within our team, giving us a competitive advantage and who are able to successfully deliver a race-winning performance.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Upkeep and maintenance of one of the team’s racing cars.
- Maintain jobs lists during each event and report any issues to the Team Manager.
- Assist with garage set up and break down at each event.
- Maintain a high level of presentation of cars and equipment.
- Work closely with the engineering team on set up of the cars.
Experience / requirements:
- Ideal candidate should have F3 experience.
- Previous experience working in other single-seater formulas advantageous.
- Knowledge and ability in all aspects of race car maintenance and repair.
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.
