The Candidate:

  • Over 10 years of experience in European algorithmic trading compliance.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial markets, trading strategies, and products, with a strong focus on algorithmic trading compliance and surveillance.
  • Expertise in providing compliance guidance at all business levels, maintaining close collaboration with trading teams.
  • In-depth understanding of European regulatory frameworks, including IFD/IFR, MiFID/MiFIR, MAR, SSR, EMIR, AML/CTF, REMIT, and MICAR.
  • Proven ability to lead regulatory business change initiatives, coordinating efforts across multiple stakeholders and geographical locations.
  • Skilled in enhancing operational compliance activities, monitoring processes, and tools.
  • Experience in managing geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong project management skills to oversee compliance initiatives and coordinate efforts across European entities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the capability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks.
