We're recruiting for an Electrical Buyer to be responsible for purchasing electrical components for the construction and rail industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Supply chain management – building relationships with existing & new suppliers, negotiating competitive pricing and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain & update a supply chain tracker, with all key details included, such as supplier specialty, agreed payment terms, credit limit, any applicable rebates.
  • Monitor monthly spend with each supplier.
  • Liaise with the Commercial & Accounting departments to forecast costs weekly & monthly.

Qualifications:

  • Construction industry experience buying electrical components.
  • Ideally experience in Commercial, Industrial or Rail sector.
  • Able to read technical drawings.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
