Are you a proactive EHS Specialist who is passionate about creating a safe, sustainable and compliant workplace? We are working with a leader in advanced engineering who is looking for an EHS Specialist on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have a strong EHS background within an industrial/manufacturing environment and enjoy a hands-on, fast-paced role.

Permanent position with a salary dependent on experience. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am – 4:30pm, Friday 8am – 3:30pm in Coventry, with some travel to Birmingham involved.

EHS Specialist Job Description:
  • Maintenance and development of the Health, Safety and Environmental management systems to ISO14001 and 45001.
  • Development, implementation and maintenance of health, safety and environmental manuals, procedures, forms and safe systems of work.
  • Maintenance and control of various permits and consents including environmental agency and local authority representatives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and oversee the coordination and completion of action plans.
  • Delivering health, safety and environmental training across the business and for new starter inductions.
EHS Specialist Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working in a health, safety and environmental role within a manufacturing/engineering/industrial environment.
  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO4001 and 45001.
  • Full UK driving license.
