Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Editor at British Muslim Magazine, located in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Editor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day editorial tasks, ensuring high-quality content creation, managing publication schedules, and collaborating with writers. This role allows for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Editing, Proofreading, and Copywriting skills
• Experience in managing publication schedules and collaborating with writers
• Familiarity with magazine publishing and digital media platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
• Knowledge of British Muslim culture and community is a plus
• Bachelor\’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years experience in editorial.
