Role and Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyse data from social, search, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Collect insights from key digital platforms to understand consumer interests, behaviours, and conversations relevant to the category and brand.
  • Evaluate brand positioning and the competitive landscape.
  • Assess how the brand and its competitors are perceived by consumers, identifying key strengths, weaknesses, and market opportunities.
  • Explore consumer behaviour, including usage routines and purchase drivers.
  • Understand how consumers engage with products in their daily lives, and what influences their path to purchase.
  • Assess brand sentiment and awareness.
  • Measure how widely the brand is known and track overall consumer sentiment across digital touch points.
  • Develop strategic recommendations with support from the wider team.
  • Translate findings into clear, actionable strategies to inform marketing, innovation, and growth initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is essential.
  • Proven experience in social listening, e-commerce review analysis, and/or market research.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills.
  • Familiarity with Chinese digital platforms.
