Position: Collection & Delivery Driver

Pay: £14.04 per hour

Location: Crawley

Hours: Monday to Friday (Full-time, ongoing temporary role)

About the Role

As a Collection & Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for driving a long wheelbase van to collect and deliver parcels efficiently and safely. You’ll play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a physically active job and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct vehicle safety checks before each shift.
  • Plan and follow dedicated delivery routes (PDA provided).
  • Collect parcels from various locations.
  • Deliver parcels to households and businesses.
  • Load and unload parcels (up to 30kg).
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
  • Experience driving a long wheelbase van.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 30kg).
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
  • Flexible and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
