The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

Our client is a global insurance company that recently had 2 retirees, and therefore we are looking for 2 risk engineers to start as soon as possible.

Requirements:

  • MEng in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical/Process Engineering.
  • Experience in oil and gas exploration and production, refinery, petrochemical, or chemical manufacturing operations, process safety, reliability, maintenance, inspection, or an equivalent risk consulting role.
  • Forward-thinking, agile, with problem-solving skills in risk management.
  • Ability to work autonomously, curious, motivated, with good relationship skills, and a team player.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend risk engineering surveys and provide risk improvement recommendations to help clients manage risks effectively.
  • Continuously learn about new and existing technologies, including recent developments in carbon capture, renewable hydrogen, and geothermal projects, expanding beyond traditional oil and gas activities.

Position is remote if based in the UK, with travel required.
