As a Distribution Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, performance, and safety of the depot. This includes overseeing daily operations, managing teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, KPIs, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize processes to achieve operational excellence.

Your role as Distribution Centre Manager:

  • Responsible for adopting a cultural transformation towards operational excellence using continuous improvement/lean methodologies, focusing on eliminating waste while ensuring Safety, Service, Cost, and Environmental standards.
  • Implement change to foster a distribution culture prioritising safety and continuous improvement at all levels.
  • Ensure on-time and in-full delivery targets are met.
  • Lead efforts to improve employee engagement across the site.
  • Manage the site P&L and budget, fully mitigating risks and capitalising on opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain confidence in service delivery.
  • Ensure statutory compliance and governance, including adherence to O-licence regulations.
