WRK Digital is actively recruiting for an IT Director on behalf of a professional services firm based in Derby.

Our private equity-backed client seeks an experienced IT Director for a permanent role. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our client.

Required skills & experience include:

• Developing and executing a 5-year strategy aligned with transformation and growth objectives
• Leading a small IT team of 3, with plans for expansion
• Managing third-party suppliers
• Integrating disparate systems, including planning and execution

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a multi-site business, be commercially minded, and capable of creating strategies that optimize business effectiveness and meet targets. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment where colleagues are encouraged to voice opinions. Security is paramount, especially considering the significant amount of data handled.

Our client values collaboration highly; therefore, the candidate should be willing to work on-site five days a week if possible, as their best work occurs when they are together.
