We are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s largest, fully integrated social enterprises, dedicated to learning, training, and employment, to recruit a Director of Governance & Company Secretary.

The successful candidate will work with the Chair, Chief Executive, and Board to ensure the highest standards of corporate governance and compliance are maintained in line with best practices. Responsibilities include facilitating decision-making, coordinating committees, ensuring regulatory compliance, providing governance advice, and sourcing legal and legislative guidance to mitigate risks and modernize practices.

We seek an experienced governance professional who has worked within complex, customer-centric environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience advising senior leadership and Boards to deliver effective governance and compliance while driving change. Excellent communication skills, the ability to influence senior leaders, and a meticulous approach to administration are essential.
