Gold & Aron Conseil is an executive search company, we are recruiting on behalf of our client. We are looking for a Corporate Development Director for a leading investment banking and M&A advisory firm.
Important: Please only apply if you have prior experience in Corporate Development/M&A/Investment Banking and you are located or you are ok to relocate to the London area.
- Years of experience: 8-12 years.
- Experience: Working in Corporate Development, M&A, Investment Banking or equivalent experience is a must. Prior experience in corporate development is a strong plus.
- Skills: Strong financial acumen, including advanced analytical skills and expertise in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, Comps).
- Location: London
- Language: Must be fluent in English
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field is preferred; MBA is a plus.

Key job activities include:
- Origination: Identify, evaluate, and initiate acquisition opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
- Deal Execution: Lead financial modeling, due diligence, valuation, and transaction structuring, post deal integration.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with internal teams and engage directly with senior executives, including the C-suite, to align on strategy and drive execution.
- Special Projects: Support ad-hoc analysis, presentations, and special initiatives; help build scalable processes and drive best practices across strategic work-streams.
Note: To avoid any ambiguity, this isn’t a banker role. It’s a corporate development position but within an investment bank. You’d be helping the bank identify and execute acquisition opportunities to help the bank itself expand its business lines, geographic reach, and capabilities.
